Afreximbank Announces an African Medical Centre of Excellence in Abuja, Nigeria

Cairo, 03 June 2021: – African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has announced the commencement of its African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) project in Abuja, Nigeria. It will provide world-class care to both low and high-income patient groups across the continent. The Bank recently formalised its long-term collaboration with King’s College Hospital, London (KCH) on the project when it signed an agreement appointing KCH the Clinical Partner of the AMCE.

Afreximbank Picks Nigeria to Host Healthcare Centre of Excellence

Cairo, 20 April 2017 – The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has selected Nigeria as the preferred country to host the first of its Centres of Excellence for Healthcare Services in Africa. Following a strategic alliance they formed in 2014, Afreximbank and King’s College Hospital, London (KCH), are establishing a network of centres of excellence in tertiary healthcare across Africa to deliver a range of specialist healthcare services for patients.
