Excellence (AMCE) has completed its first open-heart surgery and delivered West Africa&#8217;s first stereotactic body radiation therapy treatment for lung cancer, just months after opening its facility in Nigeria&#8217;s capital. The procedures underscore growing efforts to build Africa&#8217;s capacity for highly specialized medical care and reduce reliance on treatment abroad.
